Dear Fellow Alumni,
On behalf of the Wharton Club of Paris and its leadership team, I wish to thank Franck Noiret for his most dynamic Presidency over the past five years, for which the Club was recognized with the “International Club of the Year” award during the Global Clubs Conference held in Philadelphia in October 2009. Franck will continue working closely with us, especially with regards to School relations in his role on the Alumni Board and in setting up key events.
We are also very pleased to have TRIAGO, the firm founded and led by one of our most successful colleague and entrepreneur Antoine Dréan (WG’92), renew its support as official sponsor of the Club for the second year running.
I am fortunate to be working with a very strong and experienced leadership team (“Bureau”), which allows us to tackle new challenges with confidence.
We will continue proposing a variety of events on a regular basis, which you will find on our website: www.whartonparis.com
Please note in particular: Thursday 9th of December : Lunch with Jean-François Copé, former Ministre, Député Maire de Meaux et Président du Groupe UMP à l’Assmblée Nationale (more here).
Following several of your requests we plan to open up our events to a greater diversity of speakers, from a more familiar business world to the media, cultural and political circles. We welcome your initiatives and ideas in this domain. Feel free to contact me with any suggestion in this area, as in others regarding the life of the Club.
We hope that this initiative and others that we will announce in the next few months will help us achieve our goal of increasing the number of our dues paying members by 50% from the current level over the next three years.
Again, I would like to thank you for your continuing support and thank each and every member of the team for their commitment to the Wharton Club of Paris.
More generally, we look for volunteers with enthusiasm to join our team. It is truly rewarding to take initiatives and serve the Club in the Wharton spirit to improve our collective experience. Please feel free to contact me at +33 6 82 87 60 15 or email me at didier.riebel@turnteam.fr if you are interested in contributing to your club in any way
I look forward to seeing you at our next events.
Didier Riebel, WG'89
